Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 17, 2026
The short version: FocusVille does not collect, store or share any personal data. Everything stays on your device. The app works fully offline.
Data we collect
None. FocusVille has no user accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting and no tracking of any kind. The app does not transmit any data off your device — it doesn't even request network access.
Data stored on your device
Your focus-session history, statistics, village progress, unlocked companions and settings are stored locally on your iPhone only. This data never leaves your device and is never uploaded anywhere. Deleting the app deletes all of it.
Notifications
FocusVille can send local notifications — for example when a focus session finishes. These are scheduled entirely on your device. Notification permission is optional and can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.
Screen Time and app blocking
FocusVille offers an optional feature to block distracting apps during a focus session, built on Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework. This works in a privacy-preserving way designed by Apple: the apps you choose to block are represented by opaque tokens — FocusVille cannot see which apps you selected, and never receives a list of the apps installed on your device. Your selection is stored only on your device and is never transmitted.
Third-party services
FocusVille uses no third-party services. There are no third-party SDKs that collect data, no ad networks and no analytics providers.
Children's privacy
FocusVille does not collect data from anyone — including children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Since the app collects nothing, meaningful changes are unlikely.
